Recycled Mulch

Produced from processed locally collected kerbside green waste. This is a soil conditioning mulch blended with course and fine organic particles and mineral zeolite to create a graded conditioning mulching zone into the soil. It provides an effective, attractive and long-term decorative garden covering. It allows excellent water penetration through the mulch into the soil and with finer particles to blend at the soil surface encourages ideal conditions for the introduction and population of beneficial micro organisms within the soil.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the recycled nature of this product, it may contain occasional rubbish and other inorganic material.

Spread to a depth of 60 mm (top up annually)

Mulch Master

Pine Bark 10-100mm

Pine bark based mulch, by-product of the timber industry. Larger sized particles allow water to rapidly move through to soil surface taking advantage of any available water. Will take long time to break down, best to blend compost or spread organic fertiliser across soil surface prior to mulching.

Euca Mulch

This chipped Blue Gum mulch is a by product of the timber industry. Fine in texture and light in colour, this mulch is suitable for a wide range of garden types. It will add nutrients and improve soil structure over time as it breaks down, small number of fines allow for good water penetration.

Soft Fall

$120 per meter*

Ranging from 3-15mm, this pine based mulch that is a by-product of the timber industry. It comes from an environmentally sustainable source and has been approved for use in playgrounds. The Soft Fall mulch has recently evolved in texture slightly.

Lucerne $18.50 per bale

Grown primarily for animal feed, lucerne is high in nitrogen and is less likely to contain seeds than pea straw, but as a crop, does require higher levels of water to grow. Lucerne improves soil structure and increases nutrient levels as it breaks down. Lucerne helps stimulate root growth and decreases the chance of root disease in the soil.

Lucerne should be spread to a minimum depth of 75 mm and should be topped up every six months.
